About Blue Sky Group

Blue Sky Group's history dates back to 1973 as Blue Sky Hotel in Balikpapan. As one of the first hotels in the city, we are now a nationwide company focusing in diverse sectors, primarily in hospitality; Hotel, Airport Lounge, Residence, Café & Restaurant.

Our History

Designed and built as a one star hotel, Blue Sky Hotel is erected in the exact date of September 23, 1973. Through hard work, perserverance and blessings from above, the property is awarded to become a two star hotel in the year of 1989, a three star hotel in 1995, and lastly a four star hotel in 2004.

The journey from a single hotel establishment into a group managing diverse business sectors began in the late 90s. Blue Sky Group is entrusted to manage Pertamina Golf Club House, Airport Cafe, Airport Lounge and at the same time, opened doors to other opportunities such as Cafe & Restaurant, Residential Services, Marine Engineering Services, Labour Supply Services, Crane & Maintenance Services and many more. Now, the presence of Blue Sky Group is almost in all major cities throughout the country.
