To mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, the management of Blue Sky Hotel Balikpapan held a charity event and Iftar together with dozens of children from the Pondok Pesantren located in Kilo 5, North Balikpapan, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Pondok Pesantren Kilo 5, North Balikpapan.

The event started at 4:00 PM and lasted until 7:00 PM (WITA), and was enlivened with a nasheed performance by the Blue Sky Hotel Balikpapan management team. It was followed by the recitation of holy verses and Quranic tilawah. In addition to the nasheed performance, there were also games and door prizes throughout the event.

The symbolic handover of donations in the form of basic food assistance was conducted by the entire management team of Blue Sky Hotel Balikpapan, represented by Mr. Najar, the Head of the As Salaam Taklim Assembly at Blue Sky Hotel Balikpapan. The donations also included a contribution of financial assistance for the Pondok Pesantren.

This program is a routine activity carried out every year during the month of Ramadan and is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at providing positive value to the community. We hope to continue this tradition in the future as a positive action carried out by both employees and the company.
